~~CAVALIERS AT ELK RUN~~
WHERE THE CAVALIERS ROAM
You are welcome to come to our farm and meet us and our dogs. We enjoy showing off our little cavalier family. I am not a big breeder, I have three females and one male. My male I will be taking to the shows when he gets a little older, he loves to perform at home so I know he will do good. Watch for pictures of him in the ring. We look forward to meeting you.
This breed is the most loving little bundle you could ever choose. They are good with children of all ages. They are intelligent, eager to please and responsive to training. They love to go in the car, take walks, lively with a friendly personality and are a joy to have.
But you also need to consider these traits:
They need frequent attention , do not do well being left alone for long periods of time, they could exhibit signs of separation anxiety being left at home while you are at work. They do well having a companion. Cavaliers are not big on barking unless they see something new, then they feel they have to protect you and will bark at it.
I guarantee my puppies from any heredity issues for one year. All my dogs are examined by experts before breeding for any heart, eye, and patella problems. I also have them DNA tested for any heredity problems. You will be getting a very healthy little puppy to love for a long time.
I have been a breeder since 2004 and started when I lived in Montana. I then moved back to Oregon and currently live in Crane. I have shown my dogs and do this as a hobby. I have no more than two litters during a years time. Cavaliers are to be loved and cherished, we do not kennel our dogs, they live with us in our home.
All of our dogs take regular visits to our local vet and are cleared for heart, eyes, hips and knees. Puppies will also have their dew claws removed and will have all necessary shots and worming before going to their new home. We never sell our puppies to pet stores or brokers.
Cavaliers are Affectionate, Gentle and Graceful. They are a toy breed, do well in an apartment or on a farm. They will be your shadow and follow you through your home. They love to cuddle with you when you are sitting to watch tv or just be your companion in all you do.
My dogs and any Litters are AKC registered with the American Kennel Club. AKC is the best club to be accredited with.
AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T stands for Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility, and Tradition. Preparing breeders to produce healthy, excellent examples of their breeds is the program’s goal.
My dogs are tested by the Veterinary Internal Medicine-Cardiologist for any heart disease and by our Vet for Patellar Luxation and registered with OFA
A CERF test is a distinctive eye screening exam that is carried out by Veterinary Ophthalmologists. The tests then are sent to be certified by OFA for their records.
You will find us at Cavaliers at Elk Run. Watch for any updates and leave me comments. I am very interested in your thoughts.
